New Projects

After annoying last week not only in study wise I’m trying to get back on track with all my new assignments and it’s not an easy start.

VISUAL STUDIES

A BOOK – timeline of modern art. I’m so stack as there is so much research to be done. Amount is incredibly big, and I feel like failing. I’m aware my fellow students are progressing smoothly throughout the years, I have only introduction so far. Is just somehow not doing for me, not inspire, well it is but its something like I am hitting the wall all the time when I start I can’t progress further. Plus having referencing all, slows the process drastically also.
I feel a bit scared not be able to complete this task up to standards and this feeling also slows me down.

Is not just researching, writing about it, it all will need to upload on in design later and sent to be publish, I feel like kill me now.

I just hope next week I have more reasonable reflection upon this brief, because if not I’m in trouble as time goes very fast.

STUDY SKILLS

We didn’t have our tutor in last time so there was more independent work for us. So, I did entry on my other blog regarding my SUCSESS STORYS person Leonardo da Vinci, shame I had to choose only one as I mentioned previously I rather have all three from my list.

There is a link to fallow if interest arises. I was discussing Public Domain, as all da Vinci works are out in the open and can be used by anyone. Still there is few rules to consider with museum hold works.

This year’s Study Skills briefs are not as bad as last year and I’m pretty sure I will come up with presentation in appropriate time. So there is least my worries.

FINE ART

This is where my heart goes all the time. I’m very excited to know we are doing pop up shop. Working together with others creating a project to remember. Collaborating with others - aim of the project is to make, promote and sell your work.

All my fellow FINE ART course mates are driven by portraiture – whichever task they undertake. I don’t have problems with that whatsoever, but I’m here to learn and develop – I can paint portrait, but also, I can do abstract landscape and I want to explore more possibilities of what I can do, so there is nothing at the moment for me to settle in. Only thing I bringing from project to project is my desire and love for texture. Otherwise I’m very flexible.

In this note I’m joining textile girls, Anna and Amber. Anna is fashion specialist, driven by children’s clothing. Amber is interior designer. I think we will make it a good team.

The project heading is UNFINISHED and there is so much possibilities of what we can do.

We already made a group chat on FB messenger. Any ideas or progress goes for approval and thumbs up. Also, we are thinking SPRING, so already we come up with sort of colour scheme to go with, and patters as objects from nature.

Our final will be an installation of products consisting, of my artwork - Anna’s children’s wear and Ambers home accessories. I perhaps will make some greeting cards and also - I’m thinking bookmarks in bright colours. Small bits to go along with the project.

There is some sneak peak of first ideas.

ILLUSTRATION

If you can call it that - is about case study this half term.

Fallowing our pop shop experience. There will be 2000 + words on particular subject.

As its all more about how it went there is no much I can do at this point, just make notes and bear this assignment in mind.

Paul also asked us to make our professional portfolio on Behance.

I never heard of it before, but I did sign up and up to now / not even week past /  I have whole 3 followers.

This site is really for professionals as looking through some amazing projects I can’t believe that someone actually fallowed.

As of lack of time there is no much of my projects, but I did my best as usually I keep majority of my work on Flickr, where I have been member for couple years now.
